The museum has opened on May 12th, 2013 and is dedicated to Giacomo Pomili (called “il Tarpato”) and its artistic work. It is placed in the ancient part of the town.
This way the city wants to pay homage to a significant character of its history. The visitor will face the whole inspiration of the author, walking through five thematic rooms. Each room represents a time of life or a theme depicted by the artist Pomili. There are pieces of the initial phase, painted legends, religious artworks and fascinating canvas in which charming female figures and landscapes prevail.
