The white and pink salient strokes of blooming oleanders, the strong green of palm trees accompany the long seaside walks, amidst the small villas and chalets on the beach. During the summer, the blue intense sea, roars softly restless on the horizon, enamelled by the sun.
At dawn, along the shoreline, when the diminishing red light casts a peculiar pinkish glow, you can go silent for a walk, among the seagulls calling to each other, flying or watching over the waves, roosted on the reef.
During the hottest days, when skin burns because of sun and sea salt, it is possible to shelter in the shade of a pine forest, reading under the healthy cool of trees or cheer up with an healthy bike-ride along the coast: the new cycle paths which connect Grottammare with the neighbouring towns, run along the seaside, among bars, bazaars, market stalls, and even creep in, quietly, on the sea in the lee of the cliffs.
Walking down the streets of the medieval castle which dominates up from the hill, among the blooming agaves, on the slopes and the smell of orange grooves, it is also possible to reach the wonderful loggia which falls over the coast offering a unique landscape tasting, who, while sitting among the remains of medieval ancient walls, love to taste the romanticism of enchanting places as well as the silence of the wind blowing on the leaves.
